I'm an experienced music tutor, delivering one-to-one online lessons and in person group lessons in guitar, bass and ukulele to children and adults. I teach within the NG2 area. If I am not available, I have a small team of guitar tutors who are available to teach.

Lewis Cresswell is a guitar tutor based in Gedling, Nottingham who believes that learning the guitar has to be engaging and rewarding in a way that challenges the learner’s music ability, whilst also discovering and growing a new passion and love for the world of music through their lessons.

Lewis Cresswell is a guitar tutor based in Gedling, Nottingham who believes that learning the guitar has to be engaging and rewarding in a way that challenges the learner’s music ability, whilst also discovering and growing a new passion and love for the world of music through their lessons.
Lewis has been playing guitar himself since 2010, and has been practicing and teaching as a professional guitarist since 2018. Whilst performing with local Nottingham artists such as Alfie Sharp, Bria Buxton, and Byron and the Lords, Lewis acquired a First Class Honours in Music Performance at Nottingham Trent University, and his Grade 8 in Guitar at Rockschool. As of 2026, Lewis still performs weekly at many venues across Nottingham and the UK, and is focused on helping grow Nottingham's live music scene through his work with the local live music agency, Altogether Entertainment.
A passionate lover of music from all styles, genres, and cultures, Lewis continues to teach the world of guitar to students of all ages and abilities, helping over 100+ students achieve their goals in performing guitar over the past 8 years.
